I'm just sad to see that's it's placed under sports, when parkour isn't a sport, it's an lifestyle and philosophy.

Sorry to sadden you but DeviantArt's lacking categories doesn't leave me much choice. Performing Arts is the only other possible option under Photojournalism. As for Traceurs being linked to "Dancers, Actors, Artistic entertainers" I'd say that's a little more insulting than being called an Athlete.

I just looked over what my other options might be, and it seems transportation is a viable option as well.

There's no need to explain to me what Parkour is. I'm not a UF peon.

I wouldn't know, I've never heard of these "General Parkour Photography rules".
is there another subset other than General in this specific form of photography?

Seriously though I have no idea what you're reffering to. I don't follow any "rules" or try to emulate my photography to match anyone elses. Glad you like it though.

Well, thats a great idea, to start submitting parkourphotographs under "transportation". Gosh, that i have'nt thought about that earlier! xD
And i didn'nt mean to insult you if you took it that way. And basicly, f*** UF... :)
